Iran Khodro Industrial Dies Company was inaugurated by the private sector in 1986, on a land with the area of 55,000 square meters, under the title of “Kalbiran”, and then the property was purchased by Iran Khodro Company in 1996 and officially started working. Right now, following the implementation of development plans, this company is operating as the largest die making company in the Middle East and one of the biggest manufacturers of press parts and car assemblies in Iran with the capacity of 14 million parts and 1500 tons of dies and gauge panels per year.

 

The stages of the company’s setup and development:

 

  • 1986: Establishment of the company under the title of Kalibran
  • 1993: End of the construction of the administrative-production units
  • 1994: Installation of machinery for producing 500 tons of dies and gauge panels per year
  • 1995: Purchased by Iran Khodro Company and its title change from Kalibran to Industrial Dies
  • 2002: 1st Development Plan: Increase in production up to 1500 tons per year
  • 2004: 2nd Development Plan: Installation of a press line (including 5 Russian Voronezh presses) to produce G3 & G2 parts – Installation of 3 press lines including (14 German Schuler presses) to produce G3 & G2 parts
  • 2005: Installation of a press line (including 5 Italian Cattaneos for the production of G1 parts
  • 2007: Installation and commissioning of the body assembly production line in the company
  • 2017: Installation and commissioning of the fully-automatic Peugeot 405 door manufacturing line and commencement of die exports to the European countries
  • 2020: Design, manufacture and installation of Aras cabin manufacturing line
